* TIMING…STRONG WINDS WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREAS BETWEEN NOW AND 8 AM. THEY WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY TODAY AND DIMINISH AFTER 3 PM.

* WINDS…NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

* IMPACTS…LOOSE OBJECTS WILL BE BLOWN ABOUT BY THE STRONG WINDS. IN ADDITION SMALL TREE BRANCHES MAY BREAK.

* WINDS…NORTHWEST WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

* IMPACTS…SOME PATCHY BLOWING SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE MAINLY ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA IN AREAS THAT STILL HAVE SNOW ON THE GROUND OR IN AREAS THE RECEIVE SOME LIGHT SNOW TONIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 32. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 17 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

THE WARMER AIR THAT HAS MOVED INTO CENTRAL IOWA ALSO BROUGHT WITH IT VERY LOW CLOUDS...WIDESPREAD FOG WITH VISIBILITIES OF A MILE
OR LESS AND DRIZZLE OR FREEZING DRIZZLE. A BAND OF SNOW WILL MOVE ACROSS CENTRAL IOWA FROM WEST TO EAST TONIGHT. AHEAD OF THE SNOW
HOWEVER FOG WILL PRODUCE LOWERING VISIBILITIES INTO THE EVENING. LOCAL VISIBILITIES OF A QUARTER MILE WILL BE POSSIBLE. DRIZZLE
WILL ALSO FALL AND WHERE LOCATIONS ARE AT OR BELOW 32 THE PRECIPITATION WILL BE FREEZING DRIZZLE. SINCE GROUND TEMPERATURES
ARE STILL QUITE COLD...SOME REFREEZING MAY OCCUR TOWARDS EVENING.

THIS MOISTURE MOVING OVER THE VERY COLD GROUND IS CAUSING FROST ACCUMULATIONS ON ROADWAYS AND WALKWAYS AND CAUSING ICY PATCHES. IN ADDITION…AREAS OF LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE FURTHER ICY CONDITIONS. USE CAUTION IS YOU ARE TRAVELING THIS MORNING.
