(Menlo, Iowa) – Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Deputy Coordinator Jeremy Cooper reports, “With the potential for severe weather for our area on Wednesday April 19, 2023, the National Weather Service has requested a date change for the Annual Storm Spotter Training. Tonight: Rain showers before midnight, then a chance of rain and snow showers between midnight and 5am, then a chance of snow showers after 5am. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 33. Windy, with a northwest wind around 22 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
