Sports

Clark made her comments on ESPN after being named the winner of the Wooden Award as the nation’s top player.

Clark told ESPN it was a highly charged atmosphere at the end of the game.

Iowa baseball visits Bradley tonight (Wednesday night)

Sports

April 5th, 2023 by Ric Hanson

Iowa baseball coach Rick Heller says he focuses on the process and that doesn’t change with non-conference games. The Hawkeyes are 20-6 on the season and pay a visit to Bradley tonight (Wednesday night).

Heller says the Hawkeyes approach the mid-week games just like a conference series.

Bradley is one of several Missouri Valley teams on Iowa’s mid-week schedule and Heller says they are quality teams, even though they had to spend several weeks down south early in the season.

Heller says he builds their NCAA resume with the early season schedule and the travel mid-week that it would take to boost their RPI is not feasible.

Iowa opened Big Ten play by dropping two of three games to Maryland over the weekend.
