Denison Couple Charged with Dependent Adult Abuse

News

July 19th, 2011 by admin

A Denison couple has been arrested after an investigation into dependent adult abuse.

In December of 2010, police began investigating questionable financial expenditures of 40 year old Wendy Mosier and her husband, 48 year old Van Mosier, both of Denison.

Wendy Mosier had been employed by WESCO Industries in Denison from 2005 until January of this year. WESCO is a facility that assists and cares for mentally disabled individuals. As part of Mosier’s job, she was in charge of purchasing items for clients of WESCO, and using the clients’ money held in financial accounts controlled by WESCO.

Felony arrest warrants were issued Friday for Wendy Mosier. She was charged with Dependent Adult Abuse and Ongoing Criminal Conduct. Both are felonies.

Wendy’s husband Van Mosier was also charged with Felon in Possession of Firearm and Possession of Controlled Substance.

The investigation into the incidents is ongoing.
