...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning.

* VISIBILITY...Below a quarter mile at times, to near zero in some
  areas.

* IMPACTS...Driving will require caution in and around areas of
  denser fog. Visibility will drop rapidly when entering these
  areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Sidney woman arrested following slow pursuit on Sunday night

A Sidney woman was arrested following a slow pursuit on Sunday night in Fremont County. At 11:22pm Deputies attempted to stop a 1999 Ford F150 for traffic and equipment violations near the intersection of Highway 2 and 275 in Sidney. The vehicle failed to yield to law enforcement and a pursuit began at low speeds into Sidney.

The vehicle eventually stopped at a residence near the intersection of Locust and Cass Streets in Sidney. The driver, 58-year-old Jeanette Zaiger of Sidney, was placed under arrest without incident. Zaiger was charged with Eluding and was taken to the Fremont County Jail and held on $1,000 bond.

The Fremont County K9 unit assisted with the pursuit.

DALE E. CHRISTIANSEN, 91, of Audubon died Sunday, September 22nd at The Friendship Home in Audubon. Funeral Services for DALE E. CHRISTIANSEN will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 1:00pm in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Audubon. Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon has the arrangements.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 4:00pm, followed by a visitation at 5:00pm at Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon.

Burial will be in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, south of Audubon.

DALE E. CHRISTIANSEN is survived by:

Wife: Betty Christiansen of Audubon.

Children: Connie (Kelly) Simpson of Oakland. Paul (Debbie) Christensen of Huntsville, AL. John M. Christiansen of Katy, TX. Cathy McGrail of Washington D.C. Carol (Steve) Jennings of Omaha, NE.
