TODAY AND TONIGHT: NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY… RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW EARLY TUESDAY…CONTINUING INTO WEDNESDAY. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE. WINDS WILL INCREASE TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY…WHICH MAY COMBINE WITH FALLING SNOW TO REDUCE VISIBILITIES.

ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE FRIDAY. HOWEVER…THERE ARE STILL SOME UNCERTAINTIES WITH LOCATION OF HIGHER SNOW AMOUNTS.

296 out 300 4 pts off perfect score. For girls it was Sarah Kuhlman-

We had over 270 registered shooters for the day and it was a good
event for Atlantic to host. I am really proud of our shooters and all
shooters who came to the Atlantic Archery shoot over the weekend. We
look forward to our sport developing in our town and around the area.

HUGH ROSS, 89, of Atlantic, died Sun., Dec. 21st, at the Heritage House, in Atlantic. A gathering for HUGH ROSS will be held from 2-to 4-pm Jan. 3rd, at the Heritage House. Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic has the arrangements.

The family requests donations be made to Heritage House to purchase medical equipment.

HUGH ROSS is survived by his wife  Donella, of Atlantic.

MARVIN HOCKENBERRY, 93, of Anita (Svcs. 12/23/14)

MARVIN HOCKENBERRY, 93, of Anita, died Sat., Dec. 20th, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic. Funeral services for MARVIN HOCKENBERRY will be held 11-a.m. Tue., Dec. 23rd, at the Hockenberry Funeral Home, in Atlantic.

Visitation with the family at the funeral home, is from 5-to 7-pm Monday (12/22).

Burial will be in the 1st Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery at 9-a.m. Tuesday (Prior to the funeral).

MARVIN HOCKENBERRY is survived by:

His sons – Duane (Marcia) Hockenberry,  Darrell (Lynn) Hockenberry,  and David (Laurie) Hockenberry, all of Anita, & Dennis (Janelle) Hockenberry, of Wiota.

5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Today: Rain. Temperature falling to around 39 by 8am. South southeast wind 6 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Tonight: Rain before 1am, then rain and snow likely. Low around 31. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tuesday: Snow likely before noon, then a chance of rain and snow between noon and 3pm, then a chance of snow after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Breezy, with a northwest wind 8 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Tue. Night: A 20 percent chance of snow before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 25. Blustery, with a north northwest wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. Breezy.
Wed. Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.

Christmas Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 40.
