HUMBOLDT, Iowa (AP) – A former Iowa State University basketball coach convicted in 2004 of having child pornography faces a new charge of failing to comply with Iowa Sex Offender Registry rules.  Randy Brown was the Cyclones’ assistant coach in 2003 when he was first charged, and he pleaded guilty the next year to receiving child pornography over the Internet. He was sentenced to two years in federal prison.

The Fort Dodge Messenger reports that the 55-year-old Brown was recently charged with an exclusion zone violation.
