A Clarinda man has been sentenced to over 15 years in prison on child pornography charges.
Robert Eugene Glassgow of Clarinda was sentenced to 188 months of prison Monday for receipt of child pornography. United States District Judge James Gritzner also ordered Glassgow to serve a ten year term of supervised release following incarceration.
Glassgow was found guilty of the charges by a jury in January. During the trial prosecutors claimed Glassgow had built his own computer and used it to share child pornography files.
The investigation was conducted by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation-Cyber Crimes Unit, Clarinda Police Department, Page County Attorney’s Office and Department of Homeland Security. The case was prosecuted by the United State Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
