broccoli, carrots, red pepper, water chestnuts

2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion
• Brown ground beef in large nonstick skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is not pink, breaking up into 3/4-inch crumbles. Remove from skillet and place in a drainer;pour hot water over beef to remove extra fat; season with one seasoning packet from noodles and set aside.
• Place noodles in same skillet. Add vegetable mixture, water, ginger and remaining seasoning packet; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 3 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Patrick Corbin struck out seven and Chris Herrmann homered with three RBIs for the Arizona Diamondbacks in an 11-7 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night. Michael Bourn and Chris Owings added two RBIs apiece for the Diamondbacks, who are 13-7 on the road and 7-17 at home. They pulled away with seven runs over the last two innings and have won nine of 10 road series openers dating to last September.
Carlos Martinez (4-4) allowed four runs in five innings and has lost his last four starts after winning the first four. Reliever Jonathan Broxton was charged with five runs in one-third of an inning in the eighth and infielder Ruben Tejada made his major league pitching debut in the ninth, surrendering consecutive homers to Herrmann and Brandon Drury.
Corbin (2-3) allowed two runs and four hits in 6 1-3 innings with four walks. The left-hander had been 0-2 in his previous five starts.
The Iowa State Patrol reports a woman from Cass County died during a rollover accident late Friday evening, in Adair County. 32-year old Jaime Lynn Mauldin, of Anita, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene of the crash that took place just before 8-p.m. Friday, southwest of Orient.
Officials say Mauldin was traveling south on Nevada Avenue (Adair County Road P-17), when she lost control of her 1995 Ford F-150 pickup on the gravel. The vehicle left the road just north of 320th Avenue and entered the east ditch before rolling once and coming to rest facing northeast.
