Sports

October 17th, 2015 by Ric Hanson

The 17th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes put their unbeaten record on the line with a visit to 20th ranked Northwestern, today. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz expects a hard fought, close game that is nothing like Iowa’s 48-7 win last season. This has been a competitive series since the mid-90s when Gary Barnett turned the Northwestern program around.

Led by Justin Jackson’s 110 yards per game the team from Northwestern likes to keep the ball on the ground. Pre-game coverage begins at 9-a.m. on KJAN. Kickoff in Evanston, IL, is at 11:00a.m. The game will also be televised by ABC.
