VERONICA MAEDER, 87, of Greenfield, died Thu., Jan. 21st, at the Good Samaritan Society, in Fontanelle. A Mass of Christian Burial for VERONICA MAEDER will be held 10:30-a.m. Mon., Jan. 25th, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenfield, with a luncheon to follow at the church. Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.
Friends may call at St. John’s Catholic Church one-hour prior to the service, on Monday. (9:30-to 10:30-a.m.) Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.
Note: Since not all of her family could be here at this time, plans are being made for all of her children to return to the area this summer for a gathering, in remembrance of Veronica.
Memorials may be directed to the Veronica Maeder Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Her sons – Tony Maeder, of Bonham, TX; and Jerry (Jean) Maeder, of Spring Valley, CA.
Her daughters – Marcia (Matthew) Gross, of Fontanelle; Marilyn (Joe) Abeyta, of North Las Vegas, NV; & Terri (Brad) Barber, of Anita.
Her sisters – Helen Faber, of Ruthven, IA, and Rita McTigue, of Cary, NC.
13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
