Iowa baseball coach Rick Heller says the Hawkeyes are embracing high expectations as they get set for Friday’s season opener. Ranked 20th in the D1Baseball-dot-com preseason poll the Hawkeyes open Friday afternoon against Seton Hall in Charleston, South Carolina. The Hawkeyes have several key players back from last year’s team that finished 44-16 and made it to an NCAA Regional.
Heller says even with the expectations the keys to success remain the same.
The Hawkeyes complete the weekend by playing Ball State on Saturday and Lehigh on Sunday.
