(Update 4:15-p.m) The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office reports a missing Denison girl has been found safe! She was located after an extensive search that began at around 10-a.m., Saturday. They added on a social media post, “Thanks to everyone involved. God bless you for your prayers and help.” A search party was quickly formed that eventually grew to nearly 700, both first responders and volunteers. Aircraft were used, along with drones employing heat-seeking gear and dozens of people on ATVs and even on horseback scoured Crawford County for the girl. She was found Saturday afternoon, some 20 hours later, hiding under a bed in her own house. It’s still unclear how long she’d been there, or if she’d been there all along.
