Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds has broken the record for most cash on hand reported for the campaign for Iowa governor. According to a press release from The Kim Reynolds for Iowa Committee, the campaign raised nearly $3.8 million in 2021. The campaign has nearly $4.8 million cash on hand. The final report will be filed with the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board by Jan. 19. According to a news release, the governor received contributions from all 99 counties, and over 80% of all contributions are $50 or under.
