DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) – Iowa State has reinstated suspended center Jordan Railey, though he will not be allowed to play in the first three games next season. Railey was suspended following his arrest in April for fighting in public. Cyclones spokesman Mike Green says Railey’s disorderly conduct charge has been dropped. Green said Railey, who averaged 2.0 points and 1.5 rebounds as a freshman last year, will be allowed to practice with the team and go on its trip to Italy next month. He will not play during the exhibition season and the first three regular season games. Railey and forward Melvin Ejim, also a sophomore, are the only returning frontcourt players who played for Iowa State last season.
