Iowa opens the GOP nominating push with its precinct caucuses in about three weeks, on Jan. 3rd.
Cook Rice-A-Roni according to directions. Don’t over cook. Mix all ingredients. Top with 1 cup of crushed corn flakes (Ritz crackers are also good) mixed with 1/2 cup melted margarine. Bake in 9″ x 13″ pan for 30-45 minutes. One casserole serves 8.

MORRIS MORGAN, 85, of Greenfield, died Tue., Dec. 13th, at the Greenfield Manor. A Funeral Mass for MORRIS MORGAN will be held 10:30-a.m. Sat., Dec. 17th, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenfield. Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held from Noon until 8-p.m. Fri., Dec. 16th, with the family greeting friends from 6:30-8pm., and where a Prayer service begins at 6-p.m. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com . Memorials may be directed to St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenfield, or the Greenfield Manor Memorial.
Burial, will full military graveside rites, will be held at the Greenfield Cemetery.
MORRIS MORGAN is survived by:
His wife – LaDonna Morgan, of Greenfield.
His children – Gregory (Joyce) Morgan, of Beatrice, NE; Katherine Anne Tate, of Des Moines; Nancy Morgan, of Washington, D.C.; and Douglas (Suzie) Morgan, of Greenfield.
His sister – Letitia (Charles) Harris, of Greenfield.
5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his in-laws, other relatives and friends.
