MERLE LA DEANE ROUNDS, 89, of Walnut, died Fri., May 4th, in Council Bluffs. Funeral services for MERLE ROUNDS will be held 11-a.m. Mon., May 7th, at the Monroe Chapel in Walnut. Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home in Council Bluffs has the arrangements. (www.hoyfuneral.com)

Visitation is Sunday 4-6PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory(1221 North 16 Street, Council Bluffs). The family will receive friends at the Monroe Chapel in Walnut, one-hour prior to the service, Monday.

Interment will be in the Monroe Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Monroe Chapel, The Omaha Home for Boys, and the Walnut American Legion Auxiliary.

MERLE ROUNDS is survived by:

Her children – Robert Rounds Jr.  & wife Joyce);  Diane Hughes; Christi (Rod) Putnam; Rick Rounds; and Jerry (Lisa) Rounds.

Her sister – Phyllis (Vincent) Hansen.

12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, her sister-in-law,  a host of other family and friends.

MILDRED BAIR, 93, of Atlantic died on Saturday, May 5 at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.  A private family committal service for MILDRED BAIR will be held on Wednesday, May 9 at 10:30 AM at the Shelby Cemetery.  Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic has the arrangements.

An open visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6 from 1 to 4 PM and Monday, May 6 and Tuesday May 7 from 8 until 5 PM at the funeral home.

A family meeting with friends will be held on Tuesday, May 8 from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery.

ROBERT “BOB” ENGLES, 64, of Greenfield, died Fri.,  May 4th, at his home in Greenfield. A family visitation for BOB ENGLES will be held from 4-6pm Tue., May 8th, at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield, with a dinner to follow at the Greenfield Bowl.

ENOS OMER DAWSON, 98, of Oakland, died Thu., May 3rd, at the Oakland Manor. Graveside services for ENOS DAWSON will be held 2-p.m. Tue., May 8th, at the Carson Cemetery in Carson. Rieken-Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland has the arrangements.

Visitation with the family will be held at the Rieken Vieth Funeral Home from 6-7:30 PM on Monday, May 7th.
