LEILA MAE NELSEN, 82, of Kimballton died Friday, May 16th at the Salem Lutheran Home in Kimballton. Funeral services for LEILA MAE NELSEN willl be held Tuesday, May 20th at 11:00am at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimballton. Ohde Funeral Home in Kimballton has the arrangements.
Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Kimballton.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:00pm on Monday, May 19th with a prayer service at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume at 9:30am Tuesday prior to the services at the church.

JOHN CHARLES “JUNNY” WAGEMAN, 93, of Westphalia died Friday, May 16th at the Little Flower Haven Nursing Home. Mass of Christian Burial for JOHN WAGEMAN will be held on Monday, May 19th at 11:00am at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.
Open casket viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 5:00pm-8:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm.
Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Westphalia.

ST. LOUIS (AP) – Allen Craig had three hits, drove in a run and scored twice and Lance Lynn allowed two runs over seven innings to lead the St. Louis Cardinals to a 5-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Friday night.
Lynn (5-2) allowed seven hits walked two and struck out three. Carlos Martinez retired the Braves on four pitches in the eighth and Trevor Rosenthal set down the side in order for his 12th save in 13 opportunities.
Matt Carpenter and Kolten Wong had two hits each and scored a run for St. Louis. Matt Holiday, Matt Adams and Yadier Molina all drove in a run for the Cardinals.
St. Louis finished the game without manager Mike Matheny and center fielder Peter Bourjos, both of whom were ejected by home plate umpire Sean Barber at the end of the fourth inning for arguing balls and strikes.
The Red Oak Police department reports the arrest on Friday, May 16th of a Red Oak Woman for Indecent Exposure. Officers arrested 23-year-old Kirstin Lynn Wilwerding of Red Oak in the 1800 block of East Summit Street at 11:32pm. Wilwerding was taken to the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Center and held on $1000 cash bond.

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A man accused of trying to abduct children in Omaha was arrested after leading police on a chase from Nebraska to Iowa and back. KETV reports that 23-year-old Sean Collins was arrested Thursday in Omaha’s Old Market district. Police say Collins fled from officers after they were called to a report of a motorist who was trying to lure two children, ages 6 and 10, into a van.
Officers say that when they found the van, the driver turned the lights off and a woman appeared to flee from an open door. The driver sped off, crossing into Council Bluffs and then back into Omaha on Interstate 480 before crashing into two vehicles.
Collins is charged with attempted abduction, attempted robbery, flight to avoid arrest and theft by receiving.
