Woman arrested in Creston on prescription drug charge

A woman from Union County was arrested Thursday morning in Creston, on charges that include Public Intoxication, and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs. 37-year old Crystal Huddleson, of Kent, was being held in the Ringgold County Jail on $5,000 bond.

And, early this (Friday) morning, Creston Police arrested 43-year old Chad Dryden, of Creston, for OWI/1st offense, Dryden was later released on $1,000 bond.

MILDRED JOSEPHINE LEUSCHEN, 90, of Portsmouth, died Wed., April 1st, at home. A Mass of Christian Burial service for MILDRED LEUSCHEN will be held 10:30-a.m. Mon., April 6th, at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, in Panama. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Hall, in Panama, is from 2-until 9-pm on Sunday, with the family greeting friends from 4-until 8-pm. A Rosary begins at 7-p.m, at the same location.

Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Panama.

Her sons – Ronald (Evelyn) Leuschen, of Antioch, CA; Dennis (Liz) Leuschen, of Rolla, MO; William (Linda) Leuschen, of Silvis, IL; Paul (Michelle) Leuschen, of Storm Lake; Bruce (Kelly) Leuschen, of Mustang, OK, & Bennett (Lana) Leuschen, of Council Bluffs.

Visitation is from 5-until 8-pm Tuesday, at the funeral home.

There will be no burial.
