* VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH TONIGHT. RAINFALL RATES ASSOCIATED WITH THE MOST INTENSE STORMS MAY EXCEED 2 TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR. IN ADDITION…MULTIPLE STORMS MAY PASS OVER THE SAME AREA AND WILL FURTHER ENHANCE THE FLASH FLOOD THREAT. RAINFALL AMOUNTS MAY EXCEED 3 INCHES WITH SOME LOCATIONS REACHING 5 INCHES.

Red Oak teen involved in alleged Criminal Mischief

Police in Red Oak referred a local teen to Juvenile authorities Tuesday afternoon, in connection with an alleged incident of Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree. 17-year old James Michael McCauley, of Red Oak, was released to his parents following the police response.

Obituaries

JEFFREY R. JENSEN, 55, of Exira, died Sun., June 21st, at the Audubon County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services for JEFF JENSEN will be held 10:30-a.m. Fri., June 26th, at the Exira Lutheran Church. Kessler Funeral Home in Exira has the arrangements.

Friends may call at the funeral home, where the family visitation begins at 5-p.m. Thursday (6/25).

Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon.

JEFF JENSEN is survived by:

His wife – Linda Jensen, of Exira.

His children – Tina Jensen, and Angela Jensen, both of Exira, and Chad (Megan) Jensen, of Nebraska City, NE.

His sisters – Marsha Jensen, of Carroll; Vicky (Larry) Sorensen, of Exira; Peggy (Vernon) Venteicher, of Brayton, and Kimberly (Jedidiah) Stratford, of Oklahoma.

3 grandchildren, his brothers-in-law, other relatives & friends, and Deb Steinbach, of Carroll, a Special Friend of the family.
