Six days after being named the new head football coach at Northern Iowa Todd Stepsis was formally introduced, today. Stepsis spent the past six years as the head coach at Drake and led the Bulldogs to back-to-back Pioneer Football League titles. He takes over a Panther program that has a rich history but has struggled in recent years. UNI has not appeared in the FCS playoffs since 2021.

Stepsis says his bid to rebuild the program will begin with homegrown talent.
