SUE MARDESEN, 85, of Atlantic (& formerly of Elk Horn), died Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Heritage House in Atlantic. Funeral services for SUE MARDESEN will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11am at the Elk Horn Lutheran Church in Elk Horn. Ohde Funeral Home in Kimballton has the arrangements.

Friends may visit with the family from 10-a.m. until the time of service, Thursday, at the Elk Horn Lutheran Church.

Burial is in the Elk Horn Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family in Sue’s name for a donation in her memory.

Her daughters – Cindy (Tom) Boyd, and Clara Wambold, all of Omaha, NE; and Carol Hartvigsen (Dan Schnepel), of Kimballton.

Her son – Gene (Susan) Mardesen, of Elk Horn.

Her sisters – Colleen (Gary) Schnepel, of Omaha, and Arlene (Harold) Reed, of Carlisle.

4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her sisters-in-law; other relatives and friends.
