(Creston, Iowa) – Officials with the Creston Police Department report the arrest at around 2-a.m. today (Friday), of 47-year-old Shawn Jason Parmenter, of Creston. He was taken into custody at Highway 35 and Industrial Park, with the assistance of the Adams County K9 “Midge.” Parmenter was transported to the Union County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance/Methamphetamine – 1st offense. He was later released on a $1,000 bond.
