Stuart Police seek “Person of Interest” in a theft case

(Stuart, Iowa) – Officials with the Stuart Police Department Saturday night said in a social media post, that on Saturday September 21st, sometime between 7:45- and 8-p.m., the theft of a purse occurred outside of the Dollar General Store located in the 100 block of NE 2nd Street in Stuart. The purse contained the victim’s financial, personal and identifying items and information.
Police have video footage of a person of interest, and they’re asking for your help in identifying the person shown in the photos (below). The person of interest may have left the location in a red 4-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet impala or similar vehicle.
