(Red Oak, Iowa) – A call Sunday night in Red Oak about a possible burglary in progress, resulted in the arrest of a man on two charges. Red Oak Police reports Officers were dispatched at around 9:15-p.m. to the 100 block of E. Maple Street, and upon arrival and a brief investigation, arrested 57-year-old James Kent Otte (no city of residence listed). James Otte was charged with Public Intoxication and Trespass/1st offense (both Simple Misdemeanors).

He was being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $300 bond.
