KIRK D. MATHIS, 71, of Burlington, a Shenandoah native, died September 25, 2024, at his home.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Memorial service for KIRK D. MATHIS will be held 11-a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the First United Methodist Church in Shenandoah.  Lunning Chapel in Burlington is assisting the family.

A visitation will be held one-hour prior to the service, on Saturday.

Inurnment will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah.

KIRK D. MATHIS is survived by:

His wife – Karen.

His sons – T.J. (Jill) Mathis, of Danville, IA, and Joel (Becky) Mathis, of Libertyville, IL.

His brothers – Greg (Francoise) Mathis, of Council Bluffs, Tim Mathis, of Shenandoah, and Jeff (Margie) Mathis, of Wellsville, KS.

3 grandchildren, his in-laws, and other relatives.
