Denison Police search for driver involved in a multi-vehicle accident

(Denison, Iowa) – Police in Denison are asking for your help in locating a woman who was allegedly driving a car that was involved in a multi-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon. Officers responded to the incident at around 1:18-p.m. at the Denison Walmart Store. No injuries were reported.
Witnesses told police the person allegedly responsible for the accident had entered the store. An attempt was made to locate the individual, but authorities say the initial description of the driver proved to be inaccurate.
After reviewing security footage, the suspect was identified as a female with dark roots fading to blonde hair, wearing a turquoise top and denim capri’s. Despite efforts to find her in the store, she was not located.
The registered owner of the vehicle involved in the accident stated that an acquaintance had been driving the car. The driver was only known by a first name, and there was limited information available.
