Atlantic Golf team looks strong with home win against Harlan

The Atlantic boys Golf team secured a home win 153-176 against the Harlan Cyclones at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.
The medalist on the day was Hudson McLaren shooting a 37, Tristan Hayes earned the runner up medalist with a 38. The rest of the Trojans swung well with Brady Wood and Roth Den Beste having 39 a piece. Gage Gross had a 42 and Sam Brosam ended the day with a 42.
The Cyclones were led by Jonas Reynolds chipping in 40, Bradyn Ernst with a 41, Brock Lundy managed a 47, Owen Neve and Kiron Leinen tied with a 48, and Jason Erlmeier finished with a 50.
One of the highlights on the day for McLaren was the way his swing started to come together.
Next to McLaren was Hayes who noted that the Trojans showed improvement throughout the day.
Atlantic Head Coach Kendra Henningsen was impressed with the effort her team showed today in their win and wants to see refinement for her team’s green game.
Atlantic will head out to Red Oak on Thursday for a matchup with Shenandoah and Red Oak.
