Montgomery County BOS to discuss vacating an alley in Stennett

(Red Oak, Iowa) – The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors, Tuesday, will set the date for a public hearing pertaining to the vacating of an unimproved alley in the unincorporated town of Stennett. The alley is between East Depot and Wayne Streets. In other business, the Board will discuss and possibly take action on Veterans Affair office hours, and act on approving a resolution with regard to Noxious Weeds.
Other discussion, with action to possibly follow, is with regard to a contract with Solutions Managed Services, for the Sheriff’s Office, in the amount of $15,884.50, and Montgomery County, in the amount of $16,207.00, for services spanning April 1st through July 1st, 2024.
The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors meeting begins at 8:30-a.m., in their Red Oak Courthouse Board Room.
