IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa softball team took game one of the three-game series against Michigan State, 4-0, on Friday evening at Bob Pearl Field.

Sophomore Jalen Adams (8-6) threw the program’s 19^th no-hitter as Iowa picked up the win over the Spartans. This was Iowa’s first no-hitter since May 2021. Adams allowed two free passes and struck out two Michigan State hitters in seven innings of work.
