The Drake women open the NCAA Tournament Friday night against 18th ranked Colorado in Manhattan, Kansas. The Bulldogs are 29-5 and take a 14-game winning streak into the game.

That’s Drake junior guard Katie Dinnebier (din-ih-beer). The Bulldogs are in the tournament for the second straight year after winning the Missouri Valley Tournament.

Colorado was ranked as high as third this season but the Buffs enter having lost six of eight. Senior forward Quay Miller says the skid has Colorado feeling like an underdog.

Miller says Colorado will not et caught looking ahead to a possible second round game against Kansas State.
