Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports 6 arrests

(Red Oak, Iowa) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports six arrests took place over the past two weeks. Three people were arrested February 27th:

20-year-old Cole Jacob Thornton, of Red Oak, and 25-year-old Ashlyn Nicole Kephart, of Shenandoah, were arrested on warrants for Violation of Probation. Thornton was being held on a $1,000 bond. Kephart posted a $1,000 bond and was released; and, 64-year-old Ronald Lee Hall, of Council Bluffs, was arrested Feb. 27th, on a Mittimus warrant. He was being held in the Montgomery County Jail to serve two-days of a sentence.

On Feb. 26th, 55-year-old Vernon Brinkley Warf, of Red Oak, was arrested on a warrant for Child Endangerment. His cash-only bond was set at $10,000.

On the 13th of February, Montgomery County Deputies arrested 40-year-old Douglas Ray Kirsch, of Villisca, on three warrants. Two Magistrate warrants were for Theft in the 5th Degree ($1,300 bond). The other was a Jasper County warrant for Violation of Probation, for which he was being held without bond.

And, on February 12th, 60-year-old Angela Marie Gadbois, of Omaha, was arrested on a Pottawattamie County warrant for Interference with Official Acts. She was turned over to Pott. County authorities.
