San Francisco 49ers quarterback and former Iowa State star Brock Purdy passed for 255 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 25-22 overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. He led the 49ers to a field goal on their opening possession in overtime.

It was a heartbreaking loss to the 49ers, who had a 10-0 lead in the second quarter.

Purdy says the lead could have been bigger in the opening half.
