Ottumwa Police ask for help in locating a missing man

(Ottumwa, Iowa) – Police in Ottumwa are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man. Authorities on Tuesday said 40-year-old Craig Dee Smith, of Ottumwa, was reported by his roommate as a missing person, at around 8-p.m., on January 20th. The roommate advised that he had not had any contact with Smith for two weeks. (Below is a picture of Smith)

Craig Smith is described as being 6-feet tall, and weighing around 240-pounds. He was wearing jeans, a hooded sweatshirt and a black coat, when he left his residence. It was also reported that Smith could have been heading to see a friend in Keokuk County, IA.
