(Creston, Iowa) – Police in Creston say no injuries were reported following an accident Friday afternoon on Irving Street, near the intersection with North Vine Street. Authorities say 39-year-old Chadd Money, of Creston, was backing his 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup through a snow drift at the end of his driveway, when he backed into a 2017 Cadillac that was stuck on the south side of Irving Street, across an alley.

When the pickup hit the car, it caused a total of $2,000 damage and moved the car a little ways. The owner of the Cadillac said his car had become struck earlier in the day, and he was waiting for the weather to clear before digging it out.

No citations were issued.
