NORMAN VINCENT KENKEL, 87, of Harlan, died Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Elm Crest Assisted Living. A Mass of Christian Burial for NORMAN KENKEL will be held 10:30-a.m. Friday, November 17, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at the funeral home is on Thursday, Nov. 16th, from 5-until 8-p.m., with a Rosary at 7-p.m.

Burial is in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at Earling.

His sons – Kevin (Colleen) Kenkel, of Earling; Craig Kenkel, of San Anselmo, CA; Phil (Cindy) Kenkel, of Kansas City, MO; Doug (Dina) Kenkel, of Niwot, CO; Troy (Heather) Kenkel, of Moorhead, MN, & and Lyle (Kay) Kenkel, of West Des Moines.

His daughters – Cindy Gerdts, of Clarinda; Karen (CJ) Hildreth, of Grimes; Lynn Kenkel, of Earling; Jill (Mark) Campbell, of Ankeny.

18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
