JAMES “Dave” DAVID NICHOLS, 84, of Anita, died Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Cass Health in Atlantic, IA. A Memorial service for DAVE NICHOLS will be held 10:30-a.m. Friday, Nov. 10th, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, in Atlantic.

Open visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 9th, from 2-until 7-p.m., with the family present from 5-until 7-p.m.

Interment will be at Greenfield Cemetery in Greenfield, IA.

Memorials may be directed to the Nichols Family in honor of Dave. They will be designated at a later date to some of his favorite local organizations and charities and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA.

His son – Fletcher Nichols, of Anita.

His daughter – Jennifer Nichols, of Atlantic.

His sister – Edy Hill, of Indianola.

2 grandchildren; in-laws; other relatives; his Nichols Farms employees and their families; his caregiver Connie Emgarten and her family.
