JIM MURPHY, 88 of Atlantic, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023,  at the Heritage House in Atlantic. A Celebration of Life Visitation and Luncheon for JIM MURPHY will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 12^th, at the Anita Community Center.  Roland Funeral Service in Atlantic is assisting the family.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm in the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita, with military honors by the Anita American Legion Post #210 and the Iowa Army National Guard.

Memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date.

JIM MURPHY is survived by:

His sons – Dennis (Mary) Murphy, of Atlantic, and Duane (Vicki) Murphy, of Anita.

His daughter – Lorri (David) Johnston, of Waukee.

His brother – Larry (Deb) Murphy, of Council Bluffs.

3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; his sisters-in-law, Kay Murphy, of Stuart, and Judy Murphy, of Wiota.
