Woodbine Boys, AHSTW Girls Win XC Titles Tuesday

The Woodbine boys won the team championshipat the AHSTW Meet with 40 points. Earlham was second with 50. St. Albert was third with 85, IKM-Manning had 94 in fourth and Missouri Valley was fifth with 118.

Woodbine’s Landon Bendgen was the champion with Parker Heisterkamp and Gunner Wagner, both of St. Albert third and fourth. The Falcons also had Owen Wise in fourth, and Riverside’s Brody Henderson placed fifth.

Mason McCready and Dawson Henderson of Riverside were sixth and seventh, Logan-Magnolia’s Brodie Davis was ninth and Adam Barry of Woodbine was 10th.

The AHSTW girls captured the title at their home meet with 45 points, Treynor was second with 51 and Earlham was third with 59. Heartland Christian was fourth with 82, and Exira/EHK with 120 was fifth.

Logan-Magnolia’s Allysen Johnsen and Madison Sporrer were the top two runners. Treynor’s Alyssa Kulesa was third and Stefi Beisswenger of Audubon was fifth.

AHSTW’s Bella Lamp was sixth. IKM-Manning’s Raegan Garrison was seventh with Heartland Christian’s Grace Steinmetz and Keira Diehm eighth and ninth and Adyson Lapel of Woodbine 10th.

Also, Exira/EHK’s Michelle Wilson placed 15th.
