TRI-CENTER INVITATIONAL

Allysen Johnson and Madison Sporrer of Logan-Magnolia were first and second at the Tri-Center Invitational Tuesday.  Hailey Egbert of Shenandoah was third, Marie Dea of Kuemper Catholic was fourth and Adyson Lapel of Woodbine was fifth.  The rest of the girl’s top ten included Brylee Schechinger of Harlan, Michelle Wilson of Exira/EHK, Allie Anderson of Harlan, Keira Diehm of Heartland Christian and Taylor Bieker of Harlan.  Harlan won the girls team title with 38 points, Logan-Magnolia was second with 58 and Boyer Valley was third with 69 points.

On the boy’s side, Landon Bendgen and Gunner Wagner placed first and second for Woodbine with Ryan North of Kuemper Catholic third, Dane Gorham of Boyer Valley fourth and Brennan Boden of Tri-Center fifth.  the rest of the boy’s top ten includes Ian Shelton of Harlan, Jacob Greving of Kuemper Catholic, Brodie Davis of Logan-Magnolia, Dayton Wiederien of Kuemper Catholic and Jacob Hoden of Missouri Valley.  Kuemper Catholic won the team crown with 41 points, Woodbine was second with 57 and Harlan third with 76.

CRESTON INVITATIONAL

Martensdale-St. Marys won the girl’s class B title with 36 points at the Creston Invitational Tuesday.  Earlham was second with 39.  Hannah Frank of Earlham was the champ.  Jazz Christensen of Nodaway Valley placed 6th.

Clarinda won the girl’s class A title with 21 points.  Creston was second with 52 and Red Oak was third with 66.  Clarinda’s Raenna Henke and Elaina Hesse were the first two across the finish line.
