SOUTHWEST VALLEY INVITATIONAL

Griswold won the boys team championship with 50 points to Sidney’s 53 and Red Oak’s 57 at the Southwest Valley Invitational. Diagonal had 99 and Southwest Valley had 105. Red Oak freshman Emmanuel Grass was the individual champ. Jacob Driskill of East Union was second and Cody Dorscher of Griswold placed third. Griswold’s Holden Jensen was 15th.

Central Decatur won the girl’s title with 21 points, Red Oak was second with 41, Southwest Valley had 72 and Stanton posted 94. Fremont-Mills runner Hannah Wilson was the champ. Red Oak’s Maddy Lopez, Marlee Perrien and Lainey Klepinger were 8th, 9th and 11th. Stanton’s Meredith Roberts was 14th and Josie Millikan of Griswold placed 15th.

BLAIR, NE INVITATIONAL

At the Blair, Nebraska Invite, Lewis Central won the boys title with 17 points. Abraham Lincoln was eighth. Ethan Eichhorn won the race for the Titans. Kevin Coots was for LC.

On the girl’s side, Lewis Central had a third-place finish with 56 points while Abraham Lincoln was 10th. The Titans were led by Ava Bussey, who came in eighth place.

INTERSTATE 35 INVITATIONAL

Creston won the I-35 Invite with 52 points. Creston runners Owen Weis, Anthony Eben and Wyatt Goodenberger placed sixth, eighth and 10th.

In the girl’s race, Creston had 28 points to win the team championship. Creston’s Payton Davis was third. Her teammates Reese Strunk (6th), Karter Clayton (7th) and Gretchen Hoepker (9th) all placed in the top ten.
