MARLYS JOAN STEFFEN, 90, of Atlantic, died September 27, 2023, at Heritage House in Atlantic. Per her request, cremation has taken place, and no services for MARLYS STEFFEN are planned at this time. Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Atlantic is assisting the family.

Inurnment will take place on Oct. 28th at 1-p.m., in the Lawn Ridge Cemetery at Coleridge, Nebraska.

Memorials may be directed to the Marlys Steffen Family, and sent to the funeral home. They will be designated to many of her favorite local organizations and charities.

Her daughters – Cindy Willingham, of Atlantic, and Karla (Tim) Akers, of Anita.

Her sisters – Barbara Swarts, of Ottumwa, and Renee Samii, of Blaine, MN.

4 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Al.
