JAMES “JIM” CLAY JOHNSTON, 79, of rural Griswold, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023. A Celebration of Life visitation for JIM JOHNSTON will be held October 1st from 1-until 4-p.m., at the Griswold Community Building. Rieken Funeral Home has the arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established in Jim’s name.

His wife – Betty.

His daughters – Peggy Sue Henry (John), of Plattsmouth, NE; and Leslie Ann Weaver (Craig), of Overland Park, KS.

His son – Ben Johnston (Elena), of West Des Moines.

His sisters – Pat May, and Susan (Jim) Clemmensen.

9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and in-laws.
