Iowa State needs a jump start to its season and the Cyclones hope the Big-12 opener against Oklahoma State provides it. ISU is 1-2 after a 10-7 loss at Ohio, Sophomore linebacker Will McLaughlin.

He says the defense has been preparing for a Cowboy offense that has been rotating three quarterbacks.

The Cyclone defense has played well but McLaughlin says they want to create more turnovers and short fields for a struggling offense.

McLaughlin says the Cyclones are excited about this opportunity.
