Creston Police report four weekend arrests

The Creston Police Department reports four recent arrests.
On Friday, August 11th Creston Police arrested 30-year-old Zachery Allen Chumbley of Creston at 201 South Sumner Street on a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana 1st Offense, and Persons Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons. Chumbley was booked in to the Union County Jail and later released on $2,300 bond.
Also on Friday, August 11th Creston Police arrested 76-year-old Hyvis Oerlyn Thatcher of Creston on a Union County Warrant for Criminal Mischief 5th Degree. Thatcher was also charged for Trespass-Refused to Vacate 1st Offense. He was booked in to the Union County Jail and later released on $300 bond.
On Saturday, August 12th 44-year-old Brady Gale Richert of Creston was arrested at 5:35 p.m. in the alley of Pine and Walnut in Creston. Richert was charged with Consume Alcoholic Beverage in Public Place 1st Offense and Disorderly Conduct Loud Raucous Noise. Richert was held in the Union County Jail on $600 bond.
Also on Saturday, August 12th at 8:00 p.m. Creston Police arrested Rodrick Darnell Rand of Creston at his residence on a Union County Warrant for Assault and Disorderly Conduct-fighting/violent behavior. Rand was booked in to the Union County Jail on $600 bond.
