Toughness is one of the key descriptors AHSTW Lady Vike Head Volleyball Coach Kelsey Muxfeldt is using for her 2023 squad. She expects this team to have a strong competitive nature.

The Lady Vikes are coming off a bit of a disappointing season as far as the wins and losses go at 9-25 but Coach Muxfeldt said they did some things well. She thought the team was pretty strong defensively to give themselves chances at the net and that should carry over into this season. She said they need to be more aggressive though on the offensive end.

The Lady Vikes do have some holes to fill due to graduation but a strong senior class will lead the way.

Coach Muxfeldt has also been impressed by the youth coming up in the program.

AHSTW opens up the 2023 season with their home tournament on August 26th.
