JIM R. “Moon” MULLEN, 81, of Atlantic, died Saturday, July 8, 2023, at home. Funeral services for JIM MULLEN will be held 11-a.m. Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, in Atlantic.

Open visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, July 13th, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A luncheon will be held following the funeral service on Friday, in the community room of the Schmidt Family Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in the Victoria Township Cemetery, south of Massena, IA, following the luncheon.

Memorials may be directed to the family in honor of Jim, and they will be designated at a later date. Memorials may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.

His daughters – Kelly Mullen, and Kris Casey, both of Massena, and Tonna (Wes) Hoover, of Atlantic.

His son – Josh (Bailey) Mullen, of Corning.

His sisters – DeAnna (Joe) Harney, of Charlestown, IN; Glenda Williams, of Corning; ReNae (Roy) Holloway, of Safford, AZ; and Sheila (Nick) Bailiff, of Prescott.

His brother – Bruce (Pat) Mullen, of Corning

8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
