JAMES ARTHUR BIRELINE, 84, of Adair, died Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Cass Health, in Atlantic. Funeral services for JIM BIRELINE will be held 10-a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church northwest of Adair. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Adair has the arrangements.

Open visitation with the family present will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Adair, IA.

Interment will be held at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery northwest of Adair. A luncheon will be held at the Adair Community Building following the committal service at the cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Jim Bireline Family. They will be designated to the new show barn at the Guthrie County Fair Grounds and may be mailed to the Schmidt Funeral Home P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.

His wife – Jean.

His children – Steve (Tammy) Bireline, Linda (Kurk) Mackrill, and Lori Westergaard, all of Adair.

15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and other relatives.
