BERNICE A. “Bird” THOBE, 80, of Audubon, Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the Friendship Home in Audubon. A Mass of Christian Burial for BERNICE THOBE will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, July 29, 2023, at St. Patrick Catholic’s Church in Audubon. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic has the arrangements.

Visitation with the family present will be from 9 am until the time of service at the church.

Following the mass, a luncheon will be held at the Agri Hall in Audubon.

A Private family burial will take place at the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Audubon.

Memorials may be directed to the Bernice and Marvin Thobe Family and mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.

Her husband – Marvin Thobe, of Audubon.

Her daughters – Becky (Joel) Flug, of Ankeny; Karla (Dennis) Petersen, and Amy (Kenny) Petersen, all of Audubon.

Her sons – Mike (Carol) Thobe, of Carroll, and Patrick Thobe, of Dallas, TX.

Her sisters – LaVonne Thobe, Audrey Behrens, Joan Irlmeier, Janice Wieland, and Arlene Wanninger.

Her brother – Melvin Sporrer.

10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
