GABRIEL JASE APPLEGATE, 10, of Oakland, the son of Dustin & Teresa (Coughlin) Applegate, died Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital, in Council Bluffs. Funeral services for GABRIEL APPLEGATE will be held 11-a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Riverside High School. Rieken-Vieth Funeral Home, in Oakland has the arrangements.

Visitation with the family is on Friday, April 14, from 5-until 8-p.m., at the Riverside High School.

A memorial fund is being established in Gabriel’s name.

Interment is in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Oakland.

His parents – Dustin (Teresa) Applegate, of Oakland.

His brother – Maximus Applegate, of Oakland.

His sister – Anna Applegate, of Oakland.

His grandparents – Dennis (Jean) Coughlin, of Council Bluffs, and David (Sheila) Applegate, of Oakland.

Great-grandparents Warren Howard and Don Applegate, many other relatives and friends.
